Ecoware kraft paper lids offer a secure, leak-proof fit for our EcoBowl range. Lined with polylactic acid (PLA), the Ingeo™ brand, unlike PE linings manufactured from petrochemicals, PLA is produced from plant feedstocks such as corn, cassava, sugar cane or beets, providing insulation, water and oil resistance. Suitable for hot and cold use and ideal for soups and dressed salads, these paper bowls provide an alternative to plastic containers, fulfilling all criteria for products used in the food service industry.

Industrial Composting
Our paper lids are certified compostable to the AS 4736, EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, which requires the product to:
1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and
2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
