Building a nation that composts.
Composting is the most sustainable solution for dealing with organic waste, and the composting industry is slowly developing to be able to process compostable packaging. New Zealand has around 100 commercial and community compost facilities, but not all accept packaging. The potential is huge, and we believe it is our responsibility to drive the industry forward so that we can advance the diversion of organic waste from landfill in our country.

Where are the compost facilities located?
As compostable packaging becomes a consumer expectation and the norm for businesses around the world, more Councils, Government, facilities and businesses across New Zealand are jumping onboard to support with composting facilities and pick-up services.
