Building a nation that composts.
Composting is the most sustainable solution for dealing with organic waste, and the composting industry is slowly developing to be able to process compostable packaging. New Zealand has around 100 commercial and community compost facilities, but not all accept packaging. The potential is huge, and we believe it is our responsibility to drive the industry forward so that we can advance the diversion of organic waste from landfill in our country.

Where are the compost facilities located?
There are 15 locations currently composting some or all Ecoware packaging. As more people choose to join the journey with compostable packaging, a strong message of support is sent to Councils, Government, facilities and other businesses. It's only a matter of time before the infrastructure will catch-up.
