Inspired by tones of Aotearoa, New Zealand’s urban jungle, our Muted Colour Series cups are made from 100% renewable resources—an FSC® MIX certified paperboard featuring an Ingeo™ brand polylactic acid (PLA) lining, and like their PE lined counterparts, are leak-proof while offering exceptional insulation properties. Unlike PE linings manufactured from petrochemicals, PLA is produced from plant feedstocks such as corn, cassava, sugar cane or beets. Each carton contains a mix of the colour palette.

*Cup sizes are measured to brim capacity and range between 225ml to 400ml.

Industrial Composting

Our coffee cups are certified compostable to the AS 4736, EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, verified by DIN CERTCO and BPI, which requires the compostable product to:

1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and

2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
