Our coffee cup lids are made from crystallised polylactic acid (CPLA). Crystallisation is achieved by applying high pressure and heat to PLA, making the material less susceptible to heat degradation. Offering a secure, leak-proof fit for our hot EcoCups, ranging between 110ml and 500ml, our CPLA lids are also available to purchase in a black variant.

End of Life

Where appropriate composting infrastructure exists, certified compostable packaging can contribute to circular economy outcomes by supporting greater diversion of food waste from landfill, including food scraps attached to packaging. End-of-life outcomes depend on local infrastructure. We recommend confirming local acceptance before making compostability claims.

AS 4736 and EN 13432 include requirements that total fluorine content does not exceed 100 ppm, alongside declarations of no intentionally added PFAS, as referenced by the Australasian Bioplastics Association and DIN CERTCO.
