Creating any product is resource-intensive. Turning trees into forks is process-intensive, but with our economy cutlery range, we’ve used fewer resources. 

There is less buffing, which means less energy, and we skipped the branding. The edges are still smooth, but you will notice small irregularities. There is a bigger price differential compared to our standard birch wood range, which undergoes more buffing and polishing.

This means this cutlery costs less to produce and, for you, less to buy—half the cost of our regular birch wood range.

PFAS tested (no intentionally added PFAS)

Independent laboratory testing screened this product for PFAS using total fluorine analysis. No PFAS were detected, supporting a no intentionally added PFAS claim. Testing conducted via total fluorine screening in accordance with EN 14582. Packaging also complies with the U.S. Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse (TPCH) model legislation.
