A model campus for circular food systems
Manurewa High School prepares 2,800 meals on-site each day, using compostable packaging and an organics collection system to recover food scraps and packaging. Bin stations across the campus help the school recover 70% of its food waste and packaging. Green Gorilla collects three 660L bins three times a week, supporting a system that keeps these materials out of landfill.
