Our 96mm PLA plastic flat lid with sip hole offers a straw-free alternative for serving cold drinks. Made from PLA (polylactic acid) plastic derived from renewable materials, these lids provide an alternative to conventional PET plastic lids while supporting compostable end-of-life outcomes where facilities exist.

Specifications

• Suitable for cold drinks. Heat sensitive: use below 48ºC
• Do not microwave
• Shelf life: Our bioplastic products have a 12-month shelf life from date of purchase. Store bioplastics out of direct sunlight and below 35ºC. Incorrect storage reduces product stability and shelf life.

Certifications

• Certified to AS 4736 for industrial composting (verified by the Australasian Bioplastics Association)
•  Certified to EN 13432 for industrial composting (verified by DIN CERTCO, Germany)
• Certified to ASTM D6400 for industrial composting (verified by the Biodegradable Products Institute, BPI)
