This is what you achieved with us in 2017
2017 was a big year for sustainability in New Zealand.
Our supermarkets made a commitment to ban the plastic checkout bag. Our new Climate Change Minister announced a zero carbon goal by 2050. An independent Climate Commission was established. Major City Council-organised events trialled zero waste for the first time, and consumers finally put their foot down and said “No”, to plastic.
People stood up for our natural environment, and you were there to support their decisions with plastic packaging alternatives. We were just your backstop, but altogether we made greater progress towards a more sustainable way of life and business.
Because of you, this is what we achieved within the last year…
Let’s make 2018 bigger and better. We’re right behind you to help.
